Meditation for Meditators: The Wisdom of the Tao Te Ching
August 2025, TBA
This retreat is mainly meditation practice oriented, but will have a theme of the Tao Te Ching. This spiritual classic, attributed to Lao Tzu, is considered by many to be the wisest book ever written. It would be my desert island book, but I also use the short and memorizable passages as a part of my meditation practice, and I will show you how to do the same.
If you’d like a booster for your meditation practice or want to take it to the next level, this retreat is for you. We will explore a wider range of meditation techniques to add to your repertoire, as well as increase the use of pranayama. Our meditation periods will be a bit longer, and there will be more time for discussion and sharing. The schedule and structure will be the same as in the Fundamentals of Meditation weekend, so you can also look forward to some hiking, relaxation time, and a mindful bonfire.
This weekend retreat is intended for those who have previously participated in “The Fundamentals of Meditation” retreat with Wes Tudor or have attended one of his “Introduction to Meditation” workshops. Others with some meditation experience are also welcome, but should have a phone conversation with Wes beforehand to make sure it is a good fit.
All included tuition:
$499 for single bed, with roommate
$599 for private room with queen bed (couples can share for +$100)
Schedule will be almost exactly the same as the Fundamentals of Meditation weekend.
Cancellation policy also the same, but fee is $100 due to limited space.
